About the event

We are in the middle of a polycrisis, where the weight of tackling what is happening in the world can feel overwhelming. For many, this leads to hopelessness, surrender or chosen ignorance. For others, anger becomes a catalyst for action, while some find peace in the divine chaos of the universe.

For those somewhere in between, asking how can we intelligently approach the mammoth task of changing our global narrative? — this is the space to bring that inquiry.

Coming from parents deeply rooted in service, Mishka has spent much of her life working towards positive change on our planet, beginning in her teenage years. How we move towards a different future for humanity remains a fundamental question throughout her journey.

Having travelled to more than 30 countries, with a background in engineering and psychology, shamanic initiations, experience supporting thousands through deep transformation and ceremony, years of learning with more than 50 plant intelligences, and extensive exploration of higher-dimensional spirit channeling, Mishka brings a multifaceted perspective that bridges analytical thinking, spiritual inquiry, and a deep connection to the Earth and our capacity for meaningful action.

This talk unravels the multidimensional threads connecting psychedelics and planetary healing, exploring how we can each begin to play our part in shaping our collective future. From the role of centres and spaces in supporting this movement to soul awakening and embodiment, vision mapping, collective healing, earth gridwork, and beyond, this is an exploration of how individual transformation can contribute to a wider shift in consciousness — and how we begin to translate that into the world we are collectively creating.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Mishka Latib is a movement leader, ecosystem thinker, alchemist, and founder of the Psychedelic Society of South Africa and Gate to a New World. She is currently the sole representative from Africa within the Global Psychedelic Society Leaders Network, holding an important voice in the global conversation on psychedelics and consciousness.

With a background in Engineering, Psychology, psychotropic plants, and shamanic initiation within the Q’ero lineage in Peru, she bridges systems thinking, ancestral wisdom and cultural transformation. Her work has ranged from psychedelic industry advisal for a Caribbean government, plant medicine ceremonial facilitation, featuring on stages, radio, documentaries, and contributing to new earth initiatives around the world, including recently the Gathering of Tribes regenerative festival in Portugal. She’s also the founder of FeelGround, a mental health initiative with plant-based formulations seeking to support the mental health crisis in the global south.

Mishka travels the world cultivating connections between community projects, co-living spaces, retreat centres and visionary changemakers. Having built her own movements, spaces and brands, she now ignites future leaders and visionaries, helping them fan their own embers into fires others can gather around. Through sharing blueprints, resources and relationships, she helps connect emerging initiatives and turn individual inspiration into collective momentum for global flourishing.

For Mishka, it increasingly feels as though humanity has been on one big psychedelic journey. The question now is how we integrate the collective vision emerging, connect those carrying its flame, and build the future we feel, in our hearts, is possible.
